IAMCrossfit Pack the Pantry Canned Food Drive
There are so many things in life to be grateful for that we sometimes take the little things for granted. One of those things may be the food we eat each day. There are so many people in our community who struggle to put food on the table and feed their families. And there’s something WE can do to help.
During the month of November, Ethan and his friends and IAMCrossfit will be collecting canned goods to support the Miami Rescue Mission’s Pack the Pantry Food Drive. Our goal is to collect enough food to help feed nearly 220,000 meals to the hungry and homeless in our community.
So how can you help? It’s as easy as 1-2-3.
Step 1. Check Your Pantry for Canned Goods
Anything helps. Seriously. But our greatest needs include:
- Canned Vegetables
- Boxed Cereal
- Canned Meat
- Instant Potatoes
- Dry Milk
- Ketchup, Mustard,etc.
- Stuffing Mix
- Non-perishable items
Step 2. Drop Your Items Off at IAMCrossfit Vida
Our donation boxes are located inside each of our IAmCrossfit boxes located across Miami. Need an extra hand? No problem. Pick up a collection bag to easily carry your canned goods back to the box.
If you’re unable to drop your items off, email Ethan and he’ll come pick them up. It will be like a second workout for him. Except he’ll probably keep his shirt on for once.
Step 3. Promote the Canned Food Drive on Social Media
Share the IAMCrossfit Pack the Pantry Canned Food Drive on Facebook. Tweet it to your legions of Twitter followers. Pin it to your favorite Pinterest board. Whatever you makes your happy. Even just one social media share can spark a donation and help change someone’s life for the better.
